Mateusz Sitko was awarded by the Scientific Council of the Engel Family Foundation with the 2nd degree award for the best doctoral dissertation defended in the last three years.
PhD thesis "Development of computationally efficient cellular automata model for recrystallization" was carried out under the supervision of professor Łukasz Madej.
The award is granted to young research and teaching staff of the AGH University of Science and Technology, Cracow University of Technology and the Kielce University of Technology, whose age did not exceed 35 years.
